Youth Coordinator

The One Yth Coordinator helps support the One Yth ministry, serving students in 6th-12th grade. The Youth Coordinator works closely with the Next Gen Dept and the Youth Pastor to ignite a movement to reach a disconnected culture. This role is designed to create scalable systems, support all functions of youth while managing logistics and administrative tasks, managing the budget, and collaborating with all other One Church departments. Workdays will include, but not limited to Sunday to Thursday office and working hours.

Top 3 Job Duties

  • One Yth Systems

    • Set up / Tear down systems and scheduling for all Sunday and Wednesday programs.

    • Creation and refinement of first time student follow up systems.

    • Managing onboarding systems, workflows and the shadow experience for potential Youth servant leaders.

    • Manage One Yth infrastructure and communication systems such as asana, group me, planning center.

  • Admin

    • Manage and implement the Youth budget and Youth calendar.

    • Input Youth metrics into Next Gen Dashboard weekly.

    • Assist Youth Pastor in the coordination and collaborative creation of all youth special events, programs, trainings, and meetings.

  • Service Support

    • Assist in the preparation and execution of weekly Services (Sunday Cool and Ignite)

    • Assist in Building Service Order, communicating service roles, and programming logistics weekly.

    • Collaborate with Youth Pastor on student discipleship and development of students.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Responsive and organized with email, asana, Planning Center and work calendar.

  • Work with Youth Pastor, and Next Gen Director on internal and external communication to teams.

  • Collaborate with the Youth Pastor, and Next Gen Director on ministry decisions.

  • Collaborate with Operations Dept. and Youth Pastor to create and maintain a Youth budget.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, have excellent judgment, and the ability to prioritize projects.

  • Highly resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to also be effective independently.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, prioritize, and organize tasks and resources to effectively meet deadlines and achieve specific results while keeping focus on the mission at hand.
